Awesome Christian Playlist for a Hardcore Workout!

January 21st, 2012 - Fitness News

I don’t know about you, but I personally need a playlist of really up-beat, motivating songs to keep me motivated while I’m working out. ┬áThe only problem is, most of the lyrics in many of the well known hip hop/R&B/pop songs today are anything but clean.

I’m not saying that I’m against listening to any music that isn’t Christian. However, I have found that in my own life, if I put things that glorify God in my heart, that is what tends to come out! So, that being said, I created a playlist of awesome workout songs with a really good beat to keep you motivated and energized while giving glory to Him…What could be better than that!?! Enjoy!!!

Thank you for writing down this list. I listen to high energy music all the time, especially when I’m working around the house. One addition I’d make to the list would be Skillet – Awake and Alive or Hero. Thank you again!

Motivation while exercising! Well you’re pretty good if you don’t need Motivation To Exercise! I get up at 4:30 to exercise while family is still sleeping, so I don’t play music (and don’t have an I Pod) but you know when I do, I’m working all the harder and time flys! Great idea!
My favs. Kathy Tricoli, Cece Winans

Wow, stumbled on here by way of Pinterest for a different post, but I like this one! My favorites that you should add would be from Remedy Drive’s “Daylight is Coming” project. Not as well known as the top40 stuff you have, but REALLY good, Christian, driving beats!

This is awesome! Thank you! I’m always looking for good Christian music for the iPod, but sometimes it doesn’t have the beat I need to motivate me through a workout. Thanks for all the wonderful leg-work you did to come up with this playlist. I’m definitely going to check these out.

I just started on my eating healthy and working out journey. I have been meaning to put together a playlist that will keep me motivated. Thanks for doing the leg work for me! I love that you keep God in the center and look to Him for everything. He has been dealing with me on how I view myself now and how He wants me to view myself. Your story and journey really blessed me! Thanks for this website and your faithfulness.

Katie,

I am trying to get my boyfriend to see that he can have a great list of music without needing to listen to music that just contains gross and offensive lyrics most times. This is a great list and even though I have heard a few, the majority of these are new to me! Thank you :) I am sure he’ll love this too!

Also Thousand Foot Krutch has some remixes done by Andy Hunter called metamorphsize and there pretty great. Thanks again!
