This past week, God has brought a lot of really neat opportunities my way, so I thought I’d fill you guys in on the latest happenings!
First, I participated in an event called “Girls on the Run”, which is an awesome 5K run in Michigan. The objective of Girls on the Run is to educate and empower girls at an early age in order to prevent the display of at-risk activities in the future. At risk activities include substance/alcohol use, eating disorders, early onset of sexual activity, sedentary lifestyle, depression, suicide attempts and confrontations with the juvenile justice system. How awesome is that!?! I just knew I had to partner up with them!

At the event, I was giving away samples of my granola (Almond Joy Granola Recipe Coming Soon), and telling people about Dashing Dish. I met some amazing girls/women, and had such a blast!

The second I wanted to share is that I got hired at Washtenaw Community College to teach a class about nutrition! The neat thing is, the class is being offered to nurses, and they will earn a CEU when they attend. It will be a very part-time thing (only one class every few months), but I think that it’s still an awesome opportunity to help nurses find creative and practical ways to educate patients on living a healthy lifestyle!
Last but not least, my recipes are being featured on the Fox News website on their healthy living columns, as well as on Recipes for Living!
I’m so thankful for how God is opening doors! He is so faithful when we step out and trust Him, and I just wanted to brag on His goodness! So, if you are waiting on being obedient to what the Lord is telling you to do, I would encourage you to step out and trust Him! :) He WILL provide all you need and direct your steps. After all, His Word promises He will!
Oh…And one more thing, there is still about one week to enter my Shake Recipe Contest, so be sure to enter for a free Ninja Professional Blender if you havent yet!

Wow, I’m so excited for the ways He is using you!! I just wanted to affirm you in your immediate turning of praise to the Father in all the awesome ways He’s providing! It’s really encouraging to me to hear how another sister truly lives out her love for Him by directing all praise and glory to the One who gave the gifts in the first place :)
Also, I love your encouragement about stepping out in faith. I’ve spent the past year serving Him overseas in China, and it has been very difficult at times- but so so rewarding. Now, I am about a month away from returning home, and have NO idea what He has next or how exactly He wants to use my gifts… but I do know after spending my year here, that I’m completely ruined for the ordinary!! We have a BIG God… He wants to do BIG things through us, and we are asked to have faith in His ability to live His BIG crazy dreams out through our lives!
