If you’ve ever been to a pizza place, chances are you’ve heard of a BBQ chicken pizza. There is also a chance that you know how high in calories and fat these pizzas can be, which may be why you’ve stayed away from them for quite some time! If that’s the case, then I’ve got good news for you…Now you can have your pizza and eat it too! Whether your watching calories, fat, or carbs, this pizza is healthy in every aspect! Not only is it healthy, but it is so tasty that I can guarantee you will never know it! In fact, there is a good chance you will never go back to a pizza joint again!
Try adding sliced tomatoes, broccoli, or even a slice of crumbled (pre-cooked) center cut bacon as an additional topping!

This looks so good for dinner. What did you use for the crust in the pizza in your picture? And what pitas or flatbreads would you recommend?

pita bread…low carb or whole wheat is best! :)

YUM! I love using pita bread as an alternative to regular pizza dough! :)

My favorite tortillas to use are Tumaro’s Multi Grain! 1 tortilla is 60 cal, 2g fat, 85mg sodium, 11 carbs, 7g fiber, and 6g protein! Also-you can easily make your own “clean” BBQ sauce!

I made these last night (along with the zucchini chips) and they were a big hit. I made some with feta cheese and some with mozarella, they were both delicious. I couldn’t believe how easy they were. I will for sure be making pizza with flatbread again. I love your site, thanks so much for the awesome (healthy) recipes.

how do you get the wraps to be crunchy for the entire crust? When I make pizzas using wraps the edges get crispy but the rest remains soggy-like, any tips?

Sure! Bake the crust right on the oven rack for a few minutes, then flip the bread, add the toppings, and bake the rest of the way!
