What could be better on a chilly fall morning than a warm cup of espresso, pumpkin-flavored syrup and steamed milk topped with whipped cream!?! Now wait one minute…Before you roll into Starbucks to enjoy one of these popular seasonal drinks, ask yourself if you really want to consume 380 calories 13 grams of fat and 49 grams of sugar in one coffee drink! Save money, (and the calories, fat and sugar) and make this ‘skinny’ version right in the comfort of your own home! I promise you will enjoy it just as much, and you can save yourself $5 bucks and a couple hundred calories!

I absolutely LOVE seeing recipes for PSL…especially ones containing pumpkin, like the way it should be!! I just need to get my hands on some espresso and then I’m good to go!!!

I made it this AM and warmed up the second half in the microwave for about 45 seconds, and it was perfect! Tasted just the same as the first time!
This is AMAZING btw! I used vanilla silk as the milk base, the Starbucks pumpkin spice via packets, and sugar free maple syrup in it…wow, so yummy. I only used 1 packet of splenda and it was sweet enough for me!

This is a delicious recipe! I made it for my kids this afternoon, and my daughter claims it is much better than the rendition at Panera. Thanks so much.

I’ve been trying to find a low-cal coffee drink when I don’t want to spend money and calories on my favorite Starbucks drink and this was AWESOME! I will definitely be making this again.

Just one cup of skim milk is 90 calories, compared to your recipe the whole drink is 71 calories. I’m assuming that almond milk is lower in calories?
Dashing Dish said:
correct! its 30 cals per cup

Hi! How do I remove/edit my favorites? I click on edit favorites & then they jumble up so fast I can’t click on one. Thx!

Vanilla almond milk is only 30 calories per cup if you use the unsweetened. The regular has 90 calories per cup. Can’t wait to try this recipe. Sounds delicious!

For some reason mine came out realllllly thick. It still tastes great, but is a weird consistency. Any ideas? Maybe I heated it for too long?
Dashing Dish said:
most likely…if that happens just add more almond milk to thin it out a bit :)
