Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray a 9 inch baking dish with cooking spray; set aside.
Place refried beans in a medium bowl. Stir in the yogurt, seasonings, and green chiles. Add drained diced tomatoes and 1/2 cup cheese and stir to combine.
Using a spatula, spread black bean mixture into prepared baking dish. Top with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Sprinkle with diced roma tomatoes, green onions and cilantro, if desired. Serve with baked tortilla chips and/or pita chips and veggies!
