Skinny Pizza Hummus!

Here's the Dish

If you’re like me and enjoy hummus on all kinds of things (crackers, pita chips, veggies, and even as a ‘sauce’ on sandwiches), then you will LOVE this Skinny Pizza Hummus! I started making this recipe in hopes to have it be similar to Trader Joe’s Tomato Basil hummus, which is one of my favorites. However, as I went about preparing it, I found that it tasted more like pizza than anything, and I got excited thinking about all the delicious ways pizza hummus could be used! I  love to dip low carb pita or veggies in this hummus as a snack, or use it as a ‘dressing’ on my pizza salad or as a sauce on my pizza panini!

The estimated total time to make this recipe is 5-10 minutes.

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor (or really good blender) and blend until smooth. Enjoy with baked pita chips, veggies, or use as a dressing on sandwiches, salads or wraps!

1 (15.5 oz) canCannelli or Great Northern Beans (any white bean will work), rinsed and drained
1 (15.5 oz) can Garbanzo beans (also known as chick peas), rinsed and drained
6 tbs Tomato paste
1 (12 oz) jarRoasted red peppers, drained
1 tbs Lemon juice
1 tspSalt
1/2 tsp Onion powder
1 1/2 tsp Garlic, chopped (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder, or to taste)
1 tsp Dried basil 1
2-4 pkts Stevia (or 1-2 tsp sweetener of choice, or to taste)
1/2 cup Diced tomatoes
Optional: 1 tsp dried oregano

1 Or 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning

Katie's Tip!

Enjoy with baked pita chips, veggies, or use as a dressing on sandwiches, salads or wraps!

Where do you get all of the cute bowls and dishes you use from? I’ve been hunting for some unique cereal bowls and dish-ware and can’t seem to find anything good!
